Making All Things New

Making All Things New

Genesis 1:14; Isaiah 43:18,19; Revelation 21:5; Joshua 5:12; Psalm 65:11; Proverbs 5:9

The word year is shānāh in Hebrew, meaning change or revolution.

  • Year is counted for transition, longevity, accomplishments, and passage of time.
  • God instituted a new year for a new experience.
  • The Lord makes all things new, and His words are ‘true and faithful.’
  • The Lord is taking us to the year that is flowing with ‘milk and honey’, but we must be ready to eat the fruit of the land.

In 2025, the Lord will give us the dew of heaven, the fatness of the earth, and plenty of corn and wine (Genesis 27:28), but we must not give our year to the cruel.

P1. A new discovery for the new year

2 Samuel 22:16; Psalm 18:15; Job 12:22; Ezekiel 21:24; Acts 21:3; Acts 27:39

Discovery is the action of finding something hidden.

  • Many hidden treasures are waiting for exploration in 2025.
  • Discovery takes time and effort, but it is highly rewardable.
  • All the hidden sins must be self-discovered and expunged for a fruitful year.
  • There is a need for discovery in the field of evangelism—discovery for prevailing prayer and discovery for profitable career progression.

2025 is our year of Divine Release and Rest!

P2. A new decision for the new year

Provers 8:10; 11:14; Psalms 37:34; James 1:5; Exodus 7:9; Judges 6:36-40;  7:1-7

2025 is going to be a year of positive decisions, but to make a new decision that leads to our destination, we need instruction, knowledge, counsel, and wisdom from the Lord.

  • We should make decisions like Enoch and Noah to please God (Hebrews 11:5,7).
  • We should decide like Abel that offers an excellent sacrifice to the Lord (Hebrews 11:4).
  • We should make decisions for prompt obedience like Abraham (Hebrews 11:8).

The right decision demands heavenly guidance!

P3. A new direction for the new year

Isaiah 30:21; Isaiah 48:17; 1 John 2:20; Isaiah 42:16; 1 John 2:27; Psalms 32:8

The Lord God has promised to give us a new direction in the new year. If we follow His orders and prescriptions, He will guide our future efforts.

  • The image of a swan gracefully gliding through the water in the slide, accompanied by its fluffy cygnets, can be described as a metaphor for nurturing leadership and guidance.
  • The swan symbolizes a protector and mentor, calmly leading its young through the waters of life, offering safety and direction in a potentially uncertain environment.

The right direction saves time and leads to the correct destination!
